Order History & Re-ordering

View past orders and quickly re-order previously purchased items.

Order History Page

The Orders page in the wholesale portal gives your B2B customers a complete view of their purchasing history. Buyers can access it by clicking Orders in the sidebar menu.

What the Order List Shows

The order history page displays a list of all Shopify orders associated with the buyer's account. For each order, buyers can see:

  • Order number — The Shopify order number (e.g., #1042)
  • Date — When the order was placed
  • Status — The current order status (e.g., Pending, Paid, Fulfilled)
  • Total — The total dollar amount of the order

Viewing Order Details

Clicking on any order opens the order detail view, which shows the complete breakdown:

  • Order number and date
  • Order status — Current fulfillment and payment status
  • Line items — Each product in the order with:
  • Product name and variant
  • Quantity ordered
  • Unit price at time of purchase
  • Line total
  • Subtotal, shipping, tax, and grand total

This transparency helps buyers keep track of their wholesale purchasing and reconcile with their own accounting records.

Re-ordering from Past Orders

One of the most convenient features for B2B buyers is the Re-order function. Wholesale customers often purchase the same products repeatedly, and re-ordering makes this process incredibly fast.

How Re-ordering Works

  1. Go to the Orders page in the portal.
  2. Find the past order you want to re-order.
  3. Click the Re-order button on that order.
  4. BulklyCart loads the items from that order into the Quick Order page.
  5. Review the items and adjust quantities if needed.
  6. Proceed to checkout as normal.

Important Things to Know About Re-ordering

  • Current pricing is applied — Re-orders use your current wholesale pricing rules, not the prices from the original order. If prices have changed since the original order, the buyer will see the updated prices.
  • Unavailable items are skipped — If a product or variant from the original order is no longer available (out of stock, discontinued, or removed from your catalog), it will be automatically skipped. The buyer is notified about any skipped items.
  • Quantities are pre-filled — The quantities from the original order are loaded automatically, but the buyer can adjust them before placing the new order.

This feature saves your wholesale customers significant time — instead of browsing the catalog and adding items one by one, they can re-create a previous order with a single click.

Pagination for Large Order Histories

For buyers with extensive order histories, the orders list uses pagination to keep the page fast and manageable. Orders are displayed in reverse chronological order (most recent first), and buyers can navigate through older orders using the page controls.

This ensures the page loads quickly even for buyers who have placed hundreds of orders over time.
